From July 25^th to 26^th 2019, the 2019 Rotating Machinery Vibration and Common Bearing Trouble-Shooting Symposium, hosted by Hunan SUND Technological Corporation, and co-organized by Hunan Provincial Sliding Bearing and Rotating Machinery Trouble-Shooting Engineering Technology Research Center,was successfully held in Xiangtan, Hunan . This syposium is centered on practical issues in the design, manufacture, application and maintenance of rotating machinery rotors and bearings. Dr. He Minhui, an expert of sliding bearings from BRG US, Dr. Pei Shiyuan, a researcher from Xi'an Jiaotong University, Mr. Norbert Hölscher, senior consultant of Hunan SUND, the former vice president of RENK, and Zhu Jie, the chief engineer of Hunan SUND, was invited to discuss and analysis the above mentioned issues in the form of case study to find out the causes and solutions for rotating machinery vibration and bearing common failures in the conference. 

 

Invited by the company, more than 50 experts and leaders from nearly 30 domestic and foreign organizations attended the symposium,including rotating machinery OEMs, design institutes, and end users. Solving industrial practical problems is the difference with other academic institutions' seminars. The attendees have expressed that the conference was realistic and practical.  

 

This seminar has established a professional seminar platform to promote close contact and cooperation between bearing companies, rotating machinery OEMs, design institutes and end-users in China, to enhance the in-depth understanding of rotating machinery vibration problems and bearing failure problems, and thus design "good" bearings, choose "good" bearings, and use "good" bearings to promote the development of technological innovation and technological progress in the entire industry.
